Our characters
All of our characters have been tailored for our courses. They are flexible and versatile and they have all the potential to create quality animations. Vivo Animation School has developed its own system of tools (picker, ik / fk switch and match, space switch, resetting tool, mirror pose) that simplifies their use and allows us to focus on animation.
Sofia
She’s inspired by the iconic queen of Italian cinema: Sophia Loren. Thanks to her advanced facial rig, our beautiful Sofia is ready to masterfully interpret all the roles you assign her, like a real star. She was created in collaboration with Chan Ghee Leow (character design), Manuel Armonio (3d modeling), and Yang Zhuan Wei (rig).
Ruben
Adorable little boy, Ruben is perfect for all facial acting, advanced acting, and acting pro courses.
Concept design: Ruben Pirito. Modeling texturing e shading: Alessandro Bandinelli. Rigging: MVT Studio.
Paolo
Paolo is our main male character. He’s a versatile actor and the perfect partner for Sofia. His rig is complete with everything you need to achieve great performances. Paolo was created in collaboration with Chan Ghee Leow (character design) and Manuel Armonio (3d modeling).
Manuela
Manuela is our superheroine. Agile, strong, and elegant, she will make your action shots super-stylish. She is always ready to save the world ... or to destroy it! Like Davide’s, her rig is also equipped with shapers. Created in collaboration with Manuel Armonio.
Davide
The danger is his job. Davide, like Manuela, was born for courses dedicated to body mechanics and action shots. The rig is equipped with shapers, controls capable of deforming the contours of the character at will. Created by Manuel Armonio in collaboration with Vivo.
Luca
A real troublemaker. Luca is a variant of Mario, and like him he is extremely flexible and at the same time easy to use, thanks to his rig designed for body mechanics and pantomime exercises.
Mario
Mario is our cartoon character. Thanks to his body, made of simple geometric shapes, he’s perfect for body mechanics and pantomime performances, and also for cartoon shots.
Tina
Tina is a shy and adorable creature hidden under a bread bag. She is perfect for walking exercises. You can focus only on the movement of the legs and pelvis, thanks to her simplified rig.
Koda
Koda is a soft and sweet cat with some minor hyperactivity problems. He is a fun character to animate, great for practicing the concepts of squash and stretch, follow-through, and leading action.
